One of this months jobs was to fit a brand new exhaust manifold to a long term customers 1985 230e. A common problem with the 230e is the manifold cracks and blows normally between the third and fourth outlet on the manifold. The blow manifests itself in an audible ticking sound which in time worsens. the job was completed with a brand new still available main dealer part new studs and nuts along with new gaskets.
