The first and most important job was of course to get the M110 engine back into running order. The car arrived with three fuel pump relays which indicated a previous issue, it quickly became apparent that only one of the three was viable. This along with a seized fuel pump was soon rectified and the engine burst into life once the outgoing immobiliser system was overcome.
The next hurdle was the huge whole in the exhaust manifold. This need replacement with a used item. On the cars initial start up the self levelling suspension system rose as it should although there is a leak on the return pipe which will be replaced the coming week. All in all a positive start. more to follow
